Finance and Audit Committee
Dollar Bill

Believe it or not, this year has been a defining moment for the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. We continue to grow despite the deep economic downturn that we all feel in our personal lives. The Society feels a deep commitment to its members in these times, and has put in place processes that will help the Society remain fiscally vibrant and strong. We will continue to provide opportunities for growth in this exciting field. In 2009, we have invested more in committees and member-initiated ideas than any previous year in our history! We hope that you, our members, will continue to share your wonderful insights and ideas with us.

The Finance and Audit Committee (Michael Seropian, Kay Thiemann, Seth Jones, Stephen Small, and Robin Wootten) met to develop the Society's largest operating budget to date. The process was smooth and full of innovative ideas. I wish to thank the committee members for their time and for sharing their knowledge.

Michael Seropian MD, Treasurer, Society for Simulation in Healthcare, Chair, Finance and Audit Committee
