The Committee is charged with providing information related to research and research opportunities to the SSH membership. Additionally, the Committee serves SSH to promote individual researcher and institutional research related to use of simulators and simulation for education, training, assessment, and research. The Committee is in the process of coordinating a web page on the SSH web site that contains simulation-based research and researcher collaboration information. Committee members continue to be involved in the organization of the IMSH Annual Session scientific program through reviewing and selecting abstracts and awards, plus organizing research oriented scientific sessions.
SSH Research Committee currently has twenty-one active members representing institutions from around the world.
