The Research Committee is putting together a Reviewing a Scientific Abstract training Power Point, to provide a standardized orientation for annual meeting abstract reviewers. Abstract writers may also benefit from the training, as it will cue researchers/writers about elements in a successful abstract. This training will be housed on the research page of the SSH website. We hope to have it up and functioning a week before the reviewers need the information, this July.
There will be more opportunities to present your research findings at the 2011 annual meeting. Three extra hours of research presentations (20 minutes each) have been added to Day 3 of the conference, from 0830-1130. Please consider submitting your research for this expanded venue.
A State of the Science in Simulation pre-conference will be held 20-22 January in New Orleans. Society members and conference attendees are invited to view simulation experts in this National Institute of Health (NIH) style consensus conference, as they propose the agenda for simulation research for the future of the society. Audience members will be invited to respond during the proceedings. Please register for the event when registering for the conference. There is a charge for attendees to cover the cost of snacks and drinks during the event. Lunch will be on your own.
